Luis Alberto Requena Pérez
Principal of the Abraham Lincoln Peruvian North American School (Lima, Peru), with studies in Law and Education, as well as two Master’s degrees and a Doctorate in fields related to education and academic management.
He has over 33 years of professional experience in the education sector, starting as Head of the English Department in 1992. Since 2003, he has held leadership positions in various educational institutions, most notably at Casuarinas International College, Colegio Abraham Lincoln, and the Colegio Internacional de Educación Integral (in Bogotá).
In recent years, he has led several certifications such as Advanced Accreditation in Bogotá; the implementation of STEAM and Maker; and the Great Place to Study certification at Casuarinas International College.

Alfredo Altamirano Izquierdo
Vice Principal of the Abraham Lincoln Peruvian North American School (Lima, Peru), with an academic background in psychology, education, and literary studies. He has extensive professional experience in both teaching and management across various schools and universities, particularly in the areas of literacy, competency-based approaches, formative assessment, and teacher development.
During his time at the Ministry of Education of Peru, he led curricular reforms and student outcome measurement processes, including the international PISA tests in 2009 and 2012, as well as the ECE (Evaluación Censal de Estudiantes) starting in 2007. Additionally, as a member of the National Education Council, he contributed to the development of the National Education Plan 2036. These experiences, along with his firsthand knowledge of the educational systems of pioneering countries such as Canada, Finland, and Germany, have further deepened his commitment and passion for fostering the development of children and adolescents within supportive and innovative educational organizations.
