HEALTHY COEXISTENCEhe school has a coexistence plan as well as a coexistence committee with its respective intervention flow towards any situation that could damage the integrity of a student. Likewise, the campaign “For a healthy coexistence” (antibullying), and activities fostering values such as kindness, respect, tolerance, empathy, peace, and friendship are carried out. In these activities, the entire Lincoln community is integrated: students, parents, teachers, administrative personnel, maintenance staff, and personnel in charge of the school shuttles.
Workshops for parents, grandparents and nannies.
Through individual interviews, parents are provided with counseling in order to improve the dynamics and integration in the relationship with their children, parenting guidelines or any other support depending on the problem they have. Likewise, School for Parents sessions with current topics are scheduled and renowned specialists are invited to share the best alternatives for personal or family improvement, or for overcoming specific difficulties.
Furthermore, workshops are offered to nannies in relation to the work they do at home with our students, and to grandparents for their legacy and company which are meaningful to their grandchildren.
In coordination with the Headquarters of Welfare and Training, workshops are held for parents of Nursery, Primary, and Secondary School Levels with a series of lectures on health, addressing current issues such as “Self-esteem and nutrition”, “Prevention of emotional health”, and “Importance of sports in the development of children and adolescents.”
Finally, as a psycho-pedagogical team, we always seek to optimize the school life of our students by promoting their learning and enhancing their integral development, taking into account that the goal is to achieve integrity, sensitivity, and responsibility in a changing and demanding world like the one they have to live in.
WELLBEING OF LINCOLN STUDENTS
Our school is concerned with providing a comprehensive education to its students, for which the area of extracurricular art workshops has been created. This area organizes a variety of workshops given after regular school hours, daily from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. For this purpose, a staff of specialized teachers has been selected for each workshop.
From each artistic discipline, creativity is enhanced through very enriching processes for the student.
Through the workshops, the practice of values is fostered and this helps students to discover and develop their own individual capacities through which their interpersonal relationships can be improved. Students’ motivation and self-esteem are also enhanced as they develop personal qualities based on the activity they engage in according to their preferences, all of which stimulates socialization and the sense of cooperation.
The workshops offered are:
- Cartoons and comics
- Bijouterie and handmade jewelry
- Modern dance
- Dances for preschool kids
- Musical instruments: tuba, trombone, trumpet, clarinet, euphonium, transverse flute, and percussion instruments.
Participating in these activities, students show their progress in exhibitions and artistic presentations where parents and relatives can appreciate their achievements.
